The filter group displays commonly used filters. This group is unique to your workflow. You select the filters to include and which filters are currently active. Your filter group is saved in the session file when you exit Smart 3Dx. The Any filter is always available. Active filters display a check mark next to the text in the group. Press R to display the first seven filters in your filter group as a disc around your mouse pointer, and then select a filter.
Context Menu
Dockable
Indicates whether you can dock the view on the edge of the window.
Tabbed document
Indicates whether the view displays as a tab of the main view or as a floating view.
Auto hide
Collapses the view to a tab on the edge of the window when you point away from the
view. The view header displays Pinned 
when Auto hide is cleared and Unpinned 
when Auto hide is selected.
Pin/ Unpin
Enables you to pin or unpin the group to the right edge of your display.
Close
Closes the group.
Any
Applies a filter that includes all objects in the model. This is useful when you need to select a variety of objects.
The Any filter is always available as part of your filter group.
Enable All
Selects all of the filters in your filter group.
Edit filter group
Displays Edit Filter Group Dialog so that you can specify the filters to use.
