Selectthe parent equipment for the port.

Select Cable Port at the bottom of Place Equipment Controls to display the Insert Nozzle or Port Controls.

Verify that the selected equipment (Parent System) for the port and the port name are correct.

Select Browse Nozzle Data to place a nozzle that is defined in the catalog. Otherwise, continue to define the nozzle properties.

Select Orientation Properties .

Under Orientation Reference, click Select orientation reference.

Select a shape on the equipment. Port locations are measured from the selected shape origin and are indicated by a triad and a port in dynamics.

Select a Placement Type.

Select preview to see the dimensions for the selected Placement Type.

Enter port orientation distances and angles as shown in the preview. These values define the port location on the equipment.

Select Dimensional Properties .

Select preview to see the port dimensions.

Enter the port dimensions. These values define the size of the port itself.

Complete the placement:

Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
