Place a single column footing under multiple columns - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help - Hexagon

1. Select Structural Tab > Footing Command to display the Footing Controls.

2. Identify the Parent System for the footing.

3. Select how to name the footing.

4. Select Browse Catalog and then select the footing to place from Assemblies > Single in the catalog.

5. Select Select supported members.

6. In the model, select all the columns under which to place a footing.

   

7. Complete the placement:

   • Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

   • Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

   • Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
