Select Structural Tab > Stair Command to activate the Place Stair Controls.

Select the stair to place from the catalog. This selection becomes the default selection the next time you place a stair.

Select the top edge for the stair. This edge defines the top elevation of the stair.

Select the bottom plane for the stair. This plane defines the bottom elevation of the stair.

Select the optional reference edge for the stair.

Define the location of the stair along the top edge.

Using the Horizontal Offset, Width, Angle, Pitch, Side, and Vertical Offset options, refine the stair placement.

Complete the placement:

Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
