Controls how vertical pipe positions are indicated on the isometric drawing. Vertical pipe positions can be indicated either with normal pipe dimensions, in the form of vertical coordinate elevation (EL.) values, or with a combination of both the dimension of tee bend/elbows to connection type and the intersection points type.

This option switch also controls the following:

  • Dimensioning of tee bend/elbows to connection or intersection points

  • Suppression of reference dimensions

  • Dimensioning of Fabrication welds in between sections of pipe

  • Dimensioning (metric only) of gaskets and welds to the nearest 1/10th mm

  • Dimensioning of penetration plates

  • Dimensioning of welds with movement

Switch Settings

The following settings are available for Option Switch 119:

SWITCH POSITION 1 - Vertical Dimensions and Elevations

0

Use normal vertical pipe dimensions. This is the default setting. Elevations are also indicated at intersection points when the level changes.

1

Suppress all vertical pipe dimensions and replace them with elevations in the form of text messages at all positions where dimensions are normally output.

2

Output vertical dimensions and elevations at normal dimensioning positions.

SWITCH POSITION 2 - Tee Bend/Elbow Dimensioning

0

Dimension tee bend/elbow branches from the connection point.

1

Dimension tee bend/elbow branches from the centerline intersection point.

SWITCH POSITION 3 - Suppression of Reference Dimensions

0

Output reference dimensions.

1

Suppress reference dimensions.

SWITCH POSITION 4 - Fabrication Weld Between Pipe

0

Suppress dimension to fabrication welds between sections of pipe.

1

Dimension to fabrication welds between sections of pipe.

SWITCH POSITION 5 - Gasket Dimensioning to Nearest 10th mm.

0

Output gasket dimensions to nearest mm.

1

Output gasket dimensions to the nearest 1/10th mm.

SWITCH POSITION 6 - Penetration Plate Dimensioning

0

Dimension pipes passing through penetration plates from the adjacent plat face.

1

Dimension pipes passing through penetration plates from the same plate face.

SWITCH POSITION 7 - Weld Dimensioning

0

Suppress dimension of weld movement/length.

1

Dimension weld movement/length.

SWITCH POSITION 8 - Weld Dimensioning to Nearest 10th mm

0

Dimension metric weld to the nearest mm.

1

Dimension metric weld to the nearest 1/10th mm.
