The sharing feature sends objects and their data to SDx. If you want to review the drawing before the changes are updated in SDx, you can share using File Mode. The files shared using File Mode are saved in the location specified in the Folder to save XML files box.
Before sharing, you must register the plant and connect through File Mode.

Click Integration > Share.
You need to share with File Mode enabled.

Select one or more documents in the Select Documents dialog box.

In the Share dialog box, review the information displayed about the selected document or documents, and provide any missing information required.
You can change the name of the data file and meta-data file if necessary.

Click OK.
If the OK button is unavailable, verify that the path listed in the Folder to save XML files box is set to a valid location that you have read/write permission to.
