The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 10. For the latest information, see Create a laser scan server.
Prior to Update 10, the SDx Connector for TruView supported both single-user and multi-user authentication approaches to connect to Leica TruView Enterprise or Cloud. You can complete the following steps to use single-user authentication approach for connecting to Leica TruView Enterprise or Cloud:

Click Laser Scans > Create Laser Scan Server to open the New Laser Scan Server page.

In the Main details section, type a name and description for the new laser scan server object.

In the TruView Enterprise Server Details section,

Click Host, and select the applicable TruView Enterprise host site IP address.

Select a relevant Authentication Approach from the drop-down list.
You can either select a Single User or Multi User option from the list.

Click Apply. The laser scan object is created in the HxGN SDx application server.
From Update 10 till 12, the SDx Connector for TruView supported only multi-user authentication approach. But from Update 12 onwards, the SDx Connector for TruView supported both single-user and multi-user authentication approaches with an enhanced user interface.
