When creating a custom workflow template, there are a number of tasks that you must do, such as building the workflow template from existing workflow steps and associating it with interfaces that represent items that can use this workflow. Additional tasks may be performed, depending on how custom the workflow will be. For example, you may have to create custom workflow steps to include in the workflow template.
