The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 37. For the latest information, see Manage data books.

Before Update 37, the sub-chapters of a chapter were not related to the data book automatically. The data book was only related to its chapters and any objects.

From Update 9, only the data book owner can relate objects to a chapter. The data book owner is the user selected in the Item owner field for the data book or the user who created the data book if an owner was not selected.
The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 11.

In the Data Books feature set, select the data book, and select Actions
> Manage Data Book.

Select the data book chapter, and then select
> Manage Related Information to search for the documents and tags to relate.

You can also relate documents and tags to a data book.

You can also create an internal change action on documents related to the data book or its chapters.
