Log on as administration user (retired) - HxGN SDx - HxGN SDx - Reference - Hexagon

This functionality was removed in Update 23.

You must log on as the administration user before you can complete any other tasks.

The administration user admin is delivered by default with the Intergraph Authorization Server. You can manage all application users and role membership, register applications, and claim assignments required for the Intergraph Authorization Server.

1. In your web browser, go to the Intergraph Authorization Server website:

   http://[myserver.mydomain.com]/[mysitename]ConfigSvc/spfauthentication/

2. In Authorization Server, click Users on the left toolbar.

3. Type admin in the User Name box and enter the Authorization Server administrator's password in the Password box.

   The Authorization Server administrator's password is the same password entered when you create the HxGN SDx site in Server Manager.

4. Click Log in. You now have access to the Intergraph Authorization Server as the administration user.

Your account will be temporarily locked for a period of time after a number of failed log on attempts. For more information on unlocking your account, see Unlock a temporarily locked user or contact your system administrator.

• The admin user name must not be changed or deleted.

• If you have used the Authorization Server administrator's original password, you are advised to change the password to a more secure password. You can change the Authorization Server administrator's password anytime using Server Manager. However, you must know the original password if you want to change the password.
