  1. In the Create or Update Workflow Template form, click View.

    • The workflow displayed is read only; you cannot edit the workflow in this window.

    • Each node represents a step in the workflow, and the status of the step is represented by a color.

    • To identify whether a step in the workflow is completed automatically or by a user, an additional workflow status, Auto Signed Off, is used in the workflow graphical viewer window. For more information, see View auto signed off workflow steps.

  2. To change the color assigned to each status, click the colored box associated with the status color to be changed. In the example above, to change the Ready to Start status from yellow to another color, click on the yellow box to the left of the Ready to Start status to display the color selector, select a different color, and click OK.

Any changes to the colors will be applied to all the templates.

  3. To see the properties for a step, right-click on the step, and then click on Display Properties in the shortcut menu.

  4. To change the information displayed on the symbols, click Fields to display the Set Attributes to Display form.

    • Use the column set box to change which properties are displayed on the symbols.

    • The default is WFVColumnSet, which displays the step name, step description, step target date, and comments.

  5. Select the Display Property Name check box to show the property names.

  6. Click Close.
