On the A.20.06.01 User Securities for Product Groups screen, you define which user is allowed to work in which product group and in which discipline. To establish the user’s access rights to the screens and data, you also assign a role, which was pre- defined on the A.30.03 Roles/Menus screen. With the Active indicator, you can activate or de-activate a user from the logon screen.
The View options at the top of the screen are described in User Securities for Projects.
If you insert a new record, you will be asked by an alert whether you want to copy the queryable disciplines and/or the user privileges of another user/product group/discipline to the new record.
When clicking the Yes button, Window 2 is opened, and you are prompted to insert the user, product group, discipline, NLS, and role where the user privileges are to be copied from. Clicking the Start button starts the copy procedure; clicking the Cancel button cancels it.
Window 3 is then opened, and you are prompted to insert the user, product group, discipline, NLS, and role where the queryable disciplines are to be copied from. Clicking the Start button starts the copy procedure; clicking the Cancel button cancels it.
You can check the results on A.20.06.03 Queryable Disciplines and A.20.06.04 User Privileges.
