Options

Contains options for repairing the selected objects. You can select more than one option.

Join Disconnected Ports

Detects and repairs any open ports or end features among the selected objects. For example, if you select a cableway with an open port, the software checks for any other open ports within 1 inch of the open port and joins them. To modify the distance (1 inch) that the software checks, modify the cableway specification property 'PreferredGap' in the Catalog. If the value is not defined, the software uses the default value, 1 inch.

Connect Colinear Ends

Detects and repairs any open ports or end features in a linear direction using the Range Size Box value. For example, if you select a cableway with an open port and the Range Box Size is 100 mm, the software checks for any connections that can be made in a linear direction within 100 mm from the open port. The connection depends on the specification selected from the Auto Connect Specification list.

Connect Non-Colinear Ends

Detects and repairs any open ports or end features in a non-colinear direction using the Range Size Box value. For example, if you select a cableway with an open port and the Range Box Size is 100 mm, the software checks for any connections that can be made in a non-colinear direction within 100 mm from the open port. The connection depends on the specification selected from the Auto Connect Specification list.

If you select the Connect Non-Colinear Ends option, the Non-Colinear Ports To Be Connected dialog displays when you select Run. Select the raceways in the From Run_Port and To Run_Port columns to make the connections. Only the connections with the same signal type are compatible. Review the connections individually in the preview and complete the connections.
