You can now use external document management systems with SDx that keeps the files saved in the DMS without the system copying the files to an SDx vault. This avoids file duplication in the system and helps reduce a maintenance, version, and database hardware overhead.
This feature uses Server Extensibility and enables the seamless integration of SDx with an external document management system. Users can now make use of the standard document life cycle file operations on documents that have their files stored externally in a DMS, using such commands as Checkout, Undo Checkout, CheckIn, Upload, Revise, Replace Files, Signoff, Undo Signoff, Save Target As, Renditions, and Content Extraction. The Select files for merge dialog now includes the ability to reorder files manually by dragging or by the MOVE UP or MOVE DOWN buttons. (3774313)

You can now convert CAD files from color to black and white in the View and Markup Control. The color conversion can be used when viewing, printing, and downloading CAD files. This can improve the readability of files with light colors. For more information, see Using the Markup Toolbar. (3927452)
