Update 24 Highlights

• You can now create and manage your own pin lists

  You can now create and manage your own pin lists, so data that is important to you can be organized and managed more easily. Any pre-existing pinned items will be contained inside the new default group. Existing Pin buttons have been enhanced to allow you to select a pin list for the selected data. You can also create an appropriate group, if one does not already exist.

  

  

• Selecting and relating items to one another has been improved.

  Selecting and relating items is easier, faster, and more flexible to create relationships. For example, it is easier to select and relate documents to transmittals.

  • The selected items can be listed in a drop-down list, or they can be viewed and filtered in a grid.

  • The filtering options have been improved, making it very easy to refine your initial query results.

  • New or modified searches can be executed in the same window; no need to re-open the search window.

  • The results of the new or modified search can be applied to the earlier search results.

  

• Classifications are now visible in the ENS preview fields.

• New homescreen dashboards

  With the new homescreen dashboards, Business Administrators can provide preconfigured homescreens for the various roles in SDx.

  Then, users can set homescreens as their default homepage, instead of the feature set homepage, or just access the homescreens with a single click.

  Homescreens provide a simplified entry point to get quick access to relevant information such as Todos, change requests, technical queries, and so on. Widgets can be configured and reused in the similar way as InsightViews can be configured.

  Homescreens can contain SDx as well as 3rd Party data. Business Administrators can also create irame widgets for any homepage, which can include links to user systems reports such as PowerBI.

  

• SDx now supports CFIHOS 1.4 version.

  • You can now configure your SDx system to be CFIHOS 1.4 compliant. Any system with SDx older versions (Update 23 or before) can use the optional CFIHOS 1.4 upgrade, after upgrading to Update 24.

  • Schema and Mappings needed for CFIHOS 1.4 version are already available in the database for customers starting with Update 24. You must enable CFIHOS to make the system CFIHOS 1.4 compatible.

  • Customers with CFIHOS 1.3 will need to upgrade to Update 24, then run the optional CFIHOS 1.4 process to enable CFIHOS upgrade to CFIHOS 1.4 and upgrade Data Validator Mappings.

• Widget-to-widget communication is now configurable.

  This enables updating the content of several widgets based on selections in another widget. This allows customers to increase the value of their InsightViews and Homescreens. For example, a widget shows all tags related to a unit. By selecting a particular tag, the other widgets will refresh and show their content based on that selection, i.e. related change requests per tag.

• If you have already installed the earlier release of Update 24 (10.00.24.0172) but you want to install the new repackage of Update 24 (10.00.24.0177) instead, you must first uninstall the old software and then install the repackage.
