Set the structural database for structural input in the Configuration Editor.
The CAESAR II structural databases contain over 20 different properties for each cross-section. For the finite element solution, only six of these items are employed:
-
Area
-
Strong axis moment of inertia
-
Weak axis moment of inertia
-
Torsional resistivity constant
-
Member section height
-
Member section depth
