Brief Configuration - Intergraph Smart P&ID - 3.0 - Installation & Upgrade

1. On the Integration Settings page, do the following:

   1. Click Pull from ABE to activate the ABE integration functionality. You can activate this setting later if you don't want to do it right away.

   2. Set the value of Pull Interval (in minutes) depending on the frequency of your data changes for optimum performance. The default value is 720 min (12 h).

   3. Under the Smart Client section, update the values in the Id and Secret fields if required.

      

      • Any values you enter in these fields must already exist in SAM. These values are not validated because in the Brief configuration, no network connection is made to SAM.

      • If you type a value for the secret manually and a red box appears around the field, hover the mouse over the top right corner of the box to display a tool tip that explains the valid syntax for the client secret.

2. Click Next.

3. On the Configuration Preview page, review your settings.

4. When you are satisfied that all the parameter values are correct, click Apply to begin the configuration procedure.

   On successful completion of the configuration, an appropriate message appears in the message bar.

5. Click Finish to close the SPID-ABE Configuration Module.

6. Click the Close box to exit the Configuration Utility.

After completing the brief configuration, you must restart the XaltIntegration service as described in the topic Configure the Xalt Integration service.
