The Settings function can be used to change the details regarding the project and discipline that the user will be working under. This can affect the type and amount of work a user can conduct depending on the various user privileges and roles assigned to a given project and discipline. Settings can be changed at any time and this function does not require a specific role in Smart Materials.

Before you sign in you must select the Project, Discipline, Role, and Data Language values.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Settings Button - 4.5.

  2. Enter the following information:

    Mobile Scan > Settings 5.1

    • Language - Specifies the language in which the field labels and system messages must be translated for all the screens in MobileScan.

All the MobileScan messages have a pre-defined code. Since mobile apps have space constraints, some of the messages would be displayed without a code. It is advised to restrict the number of characters in the translated messages.
