What's New in Project As-Built with SDx - Intergraph Smart 3D - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon

The following changes have been made to Project As-Built with SDx.

Hot Fix and Service Pack Updates

• The software now checks for cross-project relationships between subscribed objects and objects created or modified in the active project. See Demolish and undemolish Smart Interop Objects in the model and Performing a move operation with native objects in relation to subscribed objects Smart Interop Objects in the Move Command. • The Generate SIO Utility supports transformation settings in a Smart Model from Smart Interop Publisher to specify its location within a site. For each translated Smart Model and Composite (.svf) Smart Model, Smart Interop Publisher generates an .iop file that Smart 3D and the Generate SIO Utility reads to obtain the required model location. • Added information about the recommended work process for working with a disconnected As-Built project. See Appendix: Disconnected As-Built Project Scenario. (P4 CP:383626)

• Updated common terminology for As-Built project execution so that it is more aligned with the terminology used by HxGN SDx. (P4 CP:390775)

• The Route Smart Interop Diagnostics Command corrects the data inconsistency in the routing of Smart Interop object data (primarily piping). (3519183, 2019670, 3448721)

• You can now detect and repair missing Smart Interop Object piping run port connectivity relationships. (P2 CP:346739)

• The new Reconnect Command allows manual reconnection of selected disconnected Smart Interop Objects. (P2 CP: 376265)

• The new Creation/Modification option on the Synchronize to SDx Status Report Dialog enables you to generate creation and modification data in the SDx Synchronization Status Window and in the exported Excel report. (P2 CP:379497)

• You can now map cross-section and material data of Smart Interop Objects (SIO) members to catalog data when converting an SIO member to a Smart 3D member. See Convert SIO Structure to S3D Dialog. (P2 CP:379880)

• The Report and Repair SIO Slabs and Walls custom commands now indicate the status of the commands. Command status is also saved to the SP3D error log. See Associate Layers to SIO Walls and Slabs. (P2 CP:381351)

• Updated the Configuration File path on the Convert SIO Structure to S3D Dialog, and added information about supported and unsupported conversions in Convert SIO to S3D Structure. (P2 CP:382036)

• The Synchronization to SDx Status pane now displays the number of objects synchronized to SDx with warnings. See SDx Synchronization Status Window. The Re-Synchronize Dialog also enables you to display a list of objects synchronized to SDx with warnings. (P2 CP:383160)

• In the Change Management model, you can only modify objects in the active project. (P2 CP:384856)

• Added information for resolving orphan Smart Interop Object issues before synchronizing design data to SDx. • The new Upgrade Integration Schema Command updates the SIOSchema.xml and SIOMap.xml files associated with the active catalog database to the latest SIO schema. (P2 CP:385369)

• The commands for copying Smart Interop Object (SIO) equipment, structure, and piping objects to native Smart 3D objects are now available under Tools > Utilities > Convert SIO to Native S3D Command in the Common task. (P2 CP:380145, P3 CP:385615)

• The new Upgrade Integration Schema Command updates the SIOSchema.xml and SIOMap.xml files associated with the active catalog database to a newer version. (P2 CP:385369)

• The new Repair SIO System Parent Assignment Command enables you to create system hierarchy parent relationships for Smart Interop Objects that do not have them. (P2 CP:386639)

• Updated role names for administrators, designers, engineers, and viewers. (P3 CP:382267)

• The Set Design Review Status command now includes checking for dangling relationships as part of the verification process. See Set Design Review Status Dialog. (P2 CP:388087)

• Objects synchronized to SDx with warnings are now viewable in the Synchronization Status report and in the exported Excel report. See Filter By Status in the Synchronize to SDx Status Report Dialog. (P3 CP:382379)

• The software displays warning information in the Set Design Review Status Dialog if any of the objects that belong to the project are in a warning state. (P3 CP:382948)

• You can now replace an SIO pipe with an equivalent native pipe using the Replace Pipe Command. (P3 CP:356234)

• In the Change Management model, the View Active Change Action Command enables you to move from Smart 3D to SDx. (P4 CP:370858)

• The Demolish Ribbon and the Undemolish Ribbon now include the options for setting the Construction Requirement and Construction Type for the selected Smart Interop Object.

• Added information about using the Name hyperlink in the Project Operations Dialog to move from Smart 3D to the Info Map view for the corresponding change action in SDx.

• Added information about share/synchronize error and warning messages. See Appendix: Share/Synchronize Error and Warning Conditions.
