Assets are records representing anything for which work orders may be generated to better track critical maintenance tasks, both unplanned and planned.
There are many attributes that can be associated with assets, including enabling the capability to associate resources to the asset. This can be done by selecting the Track Resources check box (see the image below). This allows ERP resources to be associated with the asset. These are ERP resources which will be impacted if the asset encounters downtime related to maintenance work.
