You can import a saved configuration file that preserves the site settings for all the nodes in Server Manager or for a single node.
-
Before importing the configuration, reset the IIS server to force the performance of all maintenance operations on the reconfigured web site, such as the deletion of old folders.
-
To import Server Manager configuration settings for all the nodes in the tree view, select the SDx Server Manager node and then click File > Import Configuration.
To import configuration settings for just a specific node, select the node and then select File > Import Configuration.
-
Browse to the location of the configuration file and click Open.
You can also import a saved configuration using the Server Manager command from the command line. Use SDxServerManager.exe with the /import argument to import a site configuration.
This example imports a configuration from a file named T1.config.
SDxServermanager.exe /import C:\temp\T1.config
