  1. On the machine where you want to test the connection to the Smart Electrical Web API server, open a browser window.

  2. In the browser's address field, type a URI using the syntax 'http://<API server name>/WebApi/SEL/V2/description'. You need to replace the values shown in italics with your own values, for example:

    http://APISVRW2K16JS/WebApi/SEL/V2/description
