Hiding API Entry Points - HxGN SDx - Update 63 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon

If you want to hide an API Entry Point to prevent the item from appearing as an object category in a search menu or on the Home page, use the following steps:

1. Search for the API Entry Point you want to hide, and select Actions > Update.

2. In the Main Details tab, API Entry Point details section:

   1. Select Hide API entry point from list in UI to hide the Entry Point type from the Search menu.

   2. Select Hide from Home Page to hide the Entry Point function tile from display in a feature set.

   Setting these options does not affect relationship navigation. For example, if you hide the DEVTag entry point, you can still navigate the relationships to the areas.

If you want to completely remove an Entry Point from display, you can only do this by terminating it. If you remove the relationship just from the Entry Point to any access groups, the Entry Point will then become available to be seen by all users.
