This procedure allows you to create a new fund. Once a new fund is created, a log entry appears in the Fund Log panel and the status of the fund becomes Available.

Navigate to Portfolio > Fund Source.

Click the Actions list and select Create Fund.
The Create Fund dialog box appears.

Click the Fund Organization ellipsis to select the required fund organization. By default, the last selected fund organization appears.

Type the required Fund Name.

(Optional) Type a Comment.

Click the Run button. The Create Fund confirmation dialog box appears.

Click the OK button. A new fund appears in the Fund Register panel.

To view the log entry, click the Log tab.

To view the status of the fund, click the Fund Register tab.
