Defines properties associated with the new model.
Name
Specifies the model name. You cannot use the following special characters when naming a new model.
Description
Specifies a description of the model.
Site
Specifies a name to describe the model site, such as Huntsville.
Owner
Specifies a name to describe the owner, such as the XYZ Group.
Model Type
Select the type of model to create: Plant, Marine, Platform, or Material Handling.
Model Purpose
Select the purpose of the model. Two settings are available: Standard and Change Management. A Change Management model enables you to use the SDx service commands, such as assigning As-Built projects to Smart 3D or synchronizing Smart Interop Object data between Smart 3D and SDx, whereas the Standard setting does not. The default setting is Standard.

To register a model with an SDx server, you must set Model Purpose to Change Management.

This option is not available if a WBS project or an As-Built project exists in the model or if the model is registered with an SDx server.
