Set the Intergraph Smart 3D Share Service to run as a user account that has permissions on the remote Oracle or SQL Server system. Otherwise, the service only runs as a local service and it does not process model data changes properly for synchronizing with SDx.
-
Log on with Administrative privileges to the computer on which Smart 3D is installed.
-
Open the Control Panel, and then double-click Administrative Tools.
-
In the Administrative Tools window, double-click Services.
-
Right-click Intergraph Smart 3D Share Service, and then select Properties from the shortcut menu.
-
On the Log On tab, select This account, and then type the user name that has permissions on the remote Oracle or SQL Server system.
-
In the Password and Confirm password boxes, type the password for the user account, and then click Apply.
The software displays a confirmation message.
-
On the General tab, set the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start), and then click Apply.
-
In the Service status section, click Start, and then click OK.
You can now define various settings groups for the service. See Define share settings.
