RFIs with Open status can be closed. RFIs with Closed status can be re-opened.
Change RFI Status to Open
This procedure allows you to change the status of an RFI from Draft status to Open. Also, you can re-open a closed RFI. Once a new RFI is created, a log entry appears, and all workflow users established in the Project Setup screen with a Distribution List value set to All Workflows are notified.

Navigate to Contracts > RFIs.

Click the Actions list and select Open RFI.

Click the RFI ellipsis to select the required RFI. By default, the last selected RFI appears.

(Optional) Type in a Comment.

Click RUN and then OK. In the RFI Register panel, the status of the RFI changes to Open.
Change RFI Status to Closed
This procedure changes the status of an RFI to Closed. Closed RFI can no longer be edited. Once the RFI is closed, a log entry appears, and all the workflow users established in the Project Setup screen with a Distribution List value set to All Workflows are notified.

Click the RFI ellipsis to select the required RFI. By default, the last selected RFI appears.

Select the Close Date.

Click RUN and then OK. In the RFI Register panel, the status of the RFI changes to Closed.
