Before you begin

Know what content belongs in the table row(s) and identify the best method to create the row.

Depending on the requirement, you can create and add rows using one of the following within this guide:

• Creating a row using statement with sub statements

• Creating a row using blocks

• Creating a row using a section

Use the column indicators at the end of a statement or the floating table preview to ensure the correct number of statements are in the row and that they are in the correct order.

Creating a row using statement with sub statements

Use this method when you need to create a row where the first cell requires user action (e.g., procedural or data entry).

1. Within the content, click Item and select the desired statement type and assign role.

2. Create or reuse a statement.

3. Drag the added statement as a sub statement into the Dynamic Table.

   This will be the first cell in the row.

4. To the newly added statement, add sub statements for each cell required across the row.

   If an incorrect item is added to the table or row, an error message is displayed.

Creating a row using blocks

Use this method when you need to create a row that will be repeated.

1. Within the content, click Item and select Block.

   Use variables where details are different across rows, for example: equipment names and IDs.

2. In the text field, enter a title for the block.

   This will be the first cell in the row.

3. Create or reuse the block.

4. Click the gear icon > Edit to edit the block.

   The block editor window displays.

5. Click Item and add a statement.

   This will be the second cell in the row.

6. (Optional) Continue adding statements for each cell required across the row.

7. Click Preview and Save.

8. Drag the block into the Dynamic Table.

9. Add the block as many times as needed.

Creating a row using a section

Use this method when you need to create a unique row and the first cell contains text that does not require user action (for example: information statements).

1. Within the content, click Section.

2. In the Section title field, enter a title for the section.

   This will be the first cell in the row.

3. Click Item and add a statement.

   This will be the second cell in the row.

4. (Optional) Continue adding statements for each cell required across the row.

5. Drag the section into the Dynamic Table.
