For hard disks and data on the computer drives, Hexagon employs Azure Disk Encryption (ADE) which encompasses multiple technologies to encrypt data at rest. All Hexagon software that is run in a Windows environment uses BitLocker to ensure that drives cannot be read without the proper decryption keys. These keys are held in the Azure Key Vault and provide access only to trusted users.
