The Intergraph Smart® Instrumentation Reference Data Comparison Utility is specifically designed to compare Smart Instrumentation reference data between different versions of Smart Instrumentation or databases. The Reference Data Comparison Utility can compare between source data from a Project Data Package, an MSSQL database or an Oracle database to a target of the same type or a target of a different database. For example from an Oracle database to an MSSQL database, from Smart Instrumentation version 2018 in an Oracle database to Smart Instrumentation version 13.1 in a MSSQL database or from a Project Data Package to either Oracle or MSSQL.
The Reference Data Comparison Utility is not Smart Instrumentation version dependent and can compare between different versions of Smart Instrumentation databases, from version 2016 and higher, and Project data packages from version 2016
and higher. It also compares between Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Its easy to understand user interface, guides you through the process of connecting a source and a target for comparison. Once connected the Reference Data Comparison Utility compares the data of the source with the target and at the conclusion of the comparison generates a report, in CSV format or as an Excel file (tabular formated), displaying only the inconsistencies found.
