Smart 3D delivers three samples for post-processing. You can extend these samples as necessary.
If you set S3DCommonParts to false, the software runs this process after the export completes to clean up any Common part information. The software then treats every part as an individual part. For more information on customizing filters, see S3DCommonParts.
This rule checks whether the current export set includes parts listed as symmetrical, and whether the parts are symmetrical for production purposes. If so, this rule removes the starboard side part, and exports only the port side part to the nesting system. The dataflow is illustrated in the graphics below.
This rule checks the exported package, and copies newly created SMS_PLATE output files to a separate location where the nesting system reads the data. On subsequent exports, this rule copies only updated parts to the nesting system.
