This document provides information and procedural instructions for:

Installing and configuring SDB

Installing and using the SDB Merge Tool, which is delivered as a part of the SDB product

Upgrading the SDB 12.4 database to SDB 12.5 or the older SDB 12.3 database all the way to SDB 12.5
This document also provides information about pre-mandatory scripts that need to be executed for upgrading the SDB 12.3 or SDB 12.4 database with SRD 10.2 to SDB 12.5 with SRD 10.4.
The migration procedure involves the use of the interactive web-based tool, SDB Merge Tool, for merging data into the SDB 12.3 or SDB 12.4 database from the SDB 12.5 database. The merge tool provides flexibility to select, view, and merge required content changes as part of the SDB 12.5 upgrade to get into the customer database.
