To update the server, go to \Smart Materials\SPMaterialsServicePack\ and run SmartReferenceDataPlus2016_Net_8.0.x.x_Server_Update.exe, following the instructions.
If it is installed, un-install the previous version using the Control Panel.
The process removes the client from the computer.
