Problem

While syncing the data from an OnSite device to the SPC application server, this error message appears:

Uh oh! OnSite could not update data. Check the log file for more details.

Cause

The host name in SmartPlant Foundation is not using a fully qualified domain name.

Solution

Ask your administrator to verify that the host name in Smartplant Foundation uses a fully qualified domain name and not localhost.
