Log on to the server as a local administrator.

Run setup.exe with administrator privileges.

On the Select Configuration Option page, select Set Up Software Only. Click Next.

On the Select Database Installation Options page, select Single instance database installation. Click Next.

On the Select Database Edition page, select Standard Edition 2. Click Next.

On the Specify Oracle Home User page, define the user under which Oracle will run. Click Next.
The password must be longer than 13 characters and contain a number, an uppercase
letter, and one special character.

On the Specify Installation Location page, specify the installation folder. Click Next.

On the Summary page, click Install.

Click Close when the installation has completed.
