Sketched features follow the same procedure as openings. For more information, see Creating a New Standard Opening.
Copy an Existing Corner Feature Symbol and Rename It

Open the file using the Symbol2D environment.

Delete any existing geometry from the file.

Click Tools > Add-Ins, and display the StdFeature ribbon bar.
Create the Feature Supports

Sketch two input splines using the Curve command.

Lock the elements by clicking Lock and selecting each spline.
Create Input Groups

Create a group for each support.
Name the Support Groups

Click Name Graphic Inputs.
-
Click Name, and type the support name in the Value box, then click Apply.
Create the Feature Geometry

Turn off all layers except for the Output layer.

Hold the CTRL key, and select the output segments in a clockwise sequence.

Click Group.
Dimension the Geometry.

Use the SmartDimension command. Place the dimensions on the Dimensions layer.
Assign Parameter Names

Click Symbol Properties, and click the Parameters tab. Add parameter names to the dimensions.
The parameter names must match the names in the bulkload file.

Click Symbol Representation, and assign the bracket geometry group to the CutCurve representation.
Save the File

Save the symbol with a .SYM extension.

Before you close the file, check the symbol's timestamp to verify that it was saved. If it was not, click Save As, and overwrite the file.

Save the file to the symbol share under the [Reference Data Folder]\CatalogData\Symbols\CornerFeatures folder.
Modify the Rules to Place the New Feature

Open the CornerFeatures.csproj file. By default, this file is delivered to the [Product Folder]\Programming\ExampleCode\StructDetail\CustomAssemblies\CornerFeature folder.

Add the selector logic required to place the new feature.
Bulkload the Feature

Bulkload in Append mode.

Place the new feature in the model
