  • You can now use the Web Client to generate new WebGL viewer files for Hexagon PPM 2D and 3D files and to regenerate existing WebGL viewer files. For more information, see Manually generate or regenerate WebGL viewer files for Hexagon 2D and 3D files (retired). (CR-AM-138116; CR-AM-138119)

  • When WebGL files are generated or regenerated for Hexagon 2D and 3D models, the files are stamped with the version number of Smart Interop Publisher used for creating the WebGL files. For more information, see Manually generate or regenerate WebGL viewer files for Hexagon 2D and 3D files (retired). (CR-AM-140425)

  • You can now navigate to individual tags in some Hexagon PPM composite models. This works if the WebGL file for the composite model was generated in an environment that uses Smart Interop Publisher release 2019 or later. (CR-AM-137420)

  • You can now view composite Hexagon PPM 3D models in the View and Markup window. For more information about viewing, see Visualizing your data. (CR-AM-116068)

  • You can now view the inconsistencies in plant data across domains. For more information, see Viewing inconsistency reports in Microsoft Excel. (CR-AM-133666)

  • You can now view the inconsistency reports across domains and configurations for published documents, as well as in object data shared between tools. For more information, refer to the Viewing inconsistency reports in Microsoft Excel. (CR-AM-133659, CR-AM-133663, CR-AM-133545)

  • When WebGL files are generated for Hexagon PPM models, the 3D .binz files will now be smaller if your environment uses a version of Smart Interop Publisher that supports the Reduce Geometry option (release 2014 or later). (Existing .binz files that have been created with earlier versions of Smart Interop Publisher are still viewable.) (CR-AM-134609)

  • You can now search for tags in a published Hexagon PPM model or drawing using the search bar in the View and Markup window. For more information, see Visualizing your data. (CR-AM-124524)

  • You can now register an Authoring tool with a plant using the Register functionality in the Integration feature set. For more information, see Viewing and Navigating Published Data. (CR-AM-134588)

  • You can now hide the Apply button on Create forms when displayed in the Web Client. For more information, see Suppress the Apply button on forms. (CR-AM-112066)

  • You can now access Business Intelligence reports configured in SmartPlant Foundation, from SmartPlant Foundation Web Client. These are called Summary Reports, and can be related to any of the feature sets. For more information, see Summary Reports. (CR-AM-137179)

  • You can now generate a Workflow Details report which displays information about each step in a workflow. For more information, see WorkflowDetailsReport client API. (CR-AM-128934)

  • The users are now filtered based on security rules while adding reviewers or reassigning users for a workflow step. For more information, see AddRecipient client API and MultiStepReAssign client API . (CR-AM-138611)

  • You can search for items in Hexagon PPM 3D models and 2D drawings that are published to the system. For more information, see see Visualizing your data. (CR-AM-137038)

  • The relationships between the ISPFCDWObject and ISPFTEFSharedObject interfaces and the ViewItemInDrawing and ViewItemInModel methods have been removed. These methods are now related to interfaces for specific shared or CDW objects published in the model or drawing. (CR-AM-141654)

  • When you select a consolidated piperun and click View Item in Model or View Item in Drawing, the complete piperun object is highlighted. (CR-AM-141654, TR-AM-138221)

  • You can automatically save an existing markup layer that is open for edit. For more information on configuring auto save, see Markup auto-save interval (minutes) in Web Client Site Settings node. (CR-AM-123919)

  • You can now pin and unpin items using the Pin and Unpin UNPINICON buttons on a hotspot bubble in an opened file. For more information, see Pin or unpin items. (CR-AM-143407)

  • Web Client constructs URLs to reduce the length of the URL displayed in a web browser. You may need to update your favorites in your browser to reconnect using the new URL construction. (DI-AM-127219)

  • You can view the Info Map from the details page of a selected object. For more information, see Use the Info Map to visually navigate information. (CR-AM-128854)

  • You can simultaneously convert multiple Hexagon 2D or 3D model files to WebGL viewer files. For more information, see Convert to WebGL viewer files in parallel. (CR-AM-137363)

  • List Edit supports editing the properties for documents selected in a search results grid. For more information, see Edit object data in the results grid and Configure objects for use in List Edit. (CR-AM-129425)

  • List Edit supports editing related objects using relationship and edge definitions. For more information, see Configure objects for use in List Edit. (CR-AM-128858)

  • List Edit supports the display of dependent enum column items so that the display of one enum type is dependent on the other. For more information, see Edit object data in the results grid. (CR-AM-128600)

  • You can sign off documents using the Sign Off with Form command. This allows you to add comments and revision notes. For more information, see Sign off with form. (CR-AM-117833)

  • When you use the View and Markup or View Native command to view a master file, you can also view and print its reference files. You can choose how many nested reference files appear using the Nested reference file level setting. (CR-AM-129898, CR-AM-131111)

  • You can suppress the display of methods in the Web Client to control the visibility of function tiles, action menu shortcuts, and functional buttons. For more information, see Suppress the display of methods in the Web Client. (CR-AM-125319)

  • You can rename objects by changing the name of an object in the Update form. The unique identifier definition (UID) or unique key definition, as well as UIDs used in relationships, are updated, as necessary. For more information, see Update an object. (CR-AM-131977)

  • If you are creating or modifying a markup and do not save it before moving to a different part of the application, a message reminds you to save the markup layer so that you do not lose your work. (CR-AM-134681)

  • The Query Scope configuration tab order is sorted alphabetically by plant or project name in the Results table. The selected Create Scope configuration always appears as the first tab. Any SharePoint site configurations appear as the last tabs. For more information, see Understanding scopes. (CR-AM-136268)

  • You can configure the default method for an object type to change how the object hyperlink action displays in the Results grid or the Info Map. For more information, see Configure the default method action for object types. (CR-AM-136269, CR-AM-136270)

  • Create forms validate the format of property definition date values before the values are committed and converted into YYYY/MM/DD date format. This avoids localization errors when the browser locale setting is set differently from the machine locale. (CR-AM-130521)

  • You can resize menu panes to accommodate long object names. (CR-AM-125343, DI-AM-137449)

  • Your pins stay on the Pinboard so they are available when you next log in. (CR-AM-105564)

  • When you look at Hexagon models, you can turn transparency on or off. (TR-AM-136050)

  • When you look at Hexagon drawings, you can choose which layers appear. (CR-AM-124048)

  • Using the ExportToExcelMaxPageSize setting, you can specify the maximum number of objects that are returned on one page when exporting data to Microsoft Excel. For more information, see Site Settings node properties. (TR-AM-135846)

  • You can see any items that are related to an object listed in separate tabs in object details and update forms. For more information, see Configure display items for related objects in create and update forms. (CR-AM-99604)

  • The standard Home page feature set and sidebar images are in SVG format. Any existing customized feature set images must be changed to SVG format. (CR-AM-142070)

  • For drawings with a Hexagon 2D file type, a new Markup tab appears in the View and Markup window. Here, you can add, change and delete markups.   • Markups for drawings with Hexagon PPM 2D files are captured and managed using a markup rendition file attached to the document. The markup rendition files are automatically generated when the Hexagon PPM 2D file is added to the database, along with the WebGL viewer file. You can also batch generate markup rendition files for Hexagon PPM 2D files that are already in the database prior to upgrade.   • You can run Visual Intelligence Reports against a Hexagon PPM model opened in the View and Markup window. For more information, see Run a visual intelligence report. (CR-AM-137269, CR-AM-139331)

  • Some Visual Intelligence Reports are delivered with the software. You can create your own report or extend an existing one. For more information, see Configure visual intelligence reports. (CR-AM-137273, CR-AM-139331)

  • Any report file attached to the Web Client is attached using the user defined class definition. (CR-AM-131162)
