Product COM+ applications are set to LocalService the first time you open Server Manager. To configure the identity of the installed COM+ applications from local service to a configurable account, follow the instructions below.

Open Administrative Tools > Component Services.

In the Component Services tool, expand the local computer, and select COM+ applications.

Right-click the SmartConverter42ComPlus COM+ application, and select Properties from the shortcut menu to open the Properties dialog box.

Select the Identity tab on the Properties dialog box.

Select the option This user: to change the account preference.
By default, the application runs under the Local Service setting using the System Account.

Type an account name the User box.

In the Password box, type the password associated with the account. If there is no password associated with the account, leave the Password box blank.

Type the password again for confirmation, and click OK.

Click OK.
