Use the navigator buttons listed below to change your model view. The Tablet mode navigator displays by default in the lower right-hand corner of the view. You can move the navigator by dragging it to another location in the view.

Move In/Move Out - Moves you forward and backward from the fixed center point of the current view.

Compass - Provides the following operations:

  • Tap to face north.

  • Press and hold to return to the home view.

  • Press and then drag to rotate the model, or rotate around a selected object.

2D View - Toggles the view between a top-down (2D) position (relative to the current center point) back to the previous 3D view. The blue fill indicates when you are looking in a top-down view direction.

Fit - Allows you to zoom in to one or more selected objects in the current view. Fit places the center point as either the center of your model, or, if you select one or more objects, the center of the objects. You can select objects, fit to them, and then rotate around them to see the objects from different viewpoints.

Walking View - Rotates the view to a horizontal, forward-facing position (relative to the current center point) and locks to the current elevation to perform the following:

  • To move from your current position to a horizonal, forward-facing view, tap Walking View.

  • To start a walkthrough from a specific object location in the model, select Walking View and then drag the cursor to a specific object. Objects highlight as you drag your finger across the screen. You can then press and hold two fingers to move forward; one finger to move back from the selected object.

The blue fill indicates when Walking View is enabled.

  • To exit the command, tap Walking View.

To change the highlight color, select classic mode Edit > Select Filter > Select Settings.
