Tools > Collision Detection > Detect Objects Only

Limits the number of collisions that are detected to improve your system performance. For objects that are made up of multiple elements, Smart Review detects only the first element in that object and then moves on to the next object.

  1. Select an object or display set in the Main view.

  2. Check Tools > Collision Detection > Detect Objects Only to make sure this command is enabled (it is enabled by default).

  3. Click Tools > Collision Detection > Detect Collisions.

The Detect Collision dialog box displays.

  4. Select the Default Collision Set, and then click Detect.

Smart Review generates a collision detection run. The number of collisions displays in the Total field.

To limit the overall number of collisions that can be found, use the Collision limit options. For more information, see Type Filter Tab (Edit Collision Sets Dialog Box).
