You use the import procedure to import dimensional data for piping that you exported from SmartPlant Instrumentation into a PDS™ project. The files that you import are the instrument specification neutral file, the instrument material description file, and physical dimension tables (load files). This procedure assumes that you have successfully completed the following procedures:
You cannot use the DDP Utility to export dimensional data from a SmartPlant Instrument
domain that uses the KKS naming convention.
