Roles are created and edited on the Roles configuration pane.

To edit an existing role:

  1. Double-click the item in the relevant column (Label, Assigned By, or Restricted Assignees) you want to edit.

    The columns address the following:

    • Label – Displayed next to the role’s assignment option list in the IndustraForm.

    • Assigned By – Determines who can assign the role.

    • Restrict Assignees – Determines who can be assigned to the role.

    • Carry Over? - Determines if the users assigned to the roles are copied over when the form is copied

  2. Make the edit you want.

  3. Click OK. For label edits, click in the white space below the roles to save the change.

A role can only be deleted when it is unassigned from all of its section editing and approval settings. For information on how to unassign a role from a section, refer to Assign roles to a section.
