  12. As a designer, I might extract BOM data from any non-SmartPlant Enterprise design tool for any discipline. This event might occur on a regular basis during the length of the project reflecting the development of the design.

  13. As a fabricator, I might extract BOM data from a non-SmartPlant Enterprise fabrication tool, such as Tekla. This event might occur on a regular basis during the length of the project reflecting the development of the design.

  14. As a designer or materials engineer, I might develop BOM data in another application, such as a spreadsheet or text file tool. This event will occur on a regular basis during the length of the project reflecting the development of the design.

  15. As a materials engineer, I need to import the BOM data against a specified revision. Each revision might be used for engineering and requisition where specific revisions would be used for construction purposes. During import, Smart Materials automatically compares the different revisions of the BOM data.
