The Bore Range dialog box displays.

  2. Type the minimum and maximum bore of the components to remove from the data files. The default unit of measure is Metric (mm). Use the list to select Imperial (in).

  3. Click OK.

In addition to removing all instances of the specified attributes and information elements, the software identifies all components that fall within the specified bore range and removes them from the file.

  • For the software to remove a component during processing, all connections must lie within the defined range. For example, if only the branch leg of a tee is within the range, but the other legs are not, the software does not remove the tee.

  • For information about the other options available in the Strip Files dialog box, see Strip Files dialog box.
