The test document files are Excel (.xls) files in a format specific to the SmartPlant Test Tool. Test document files are installed to ..\<product directory>\EF Test Tool\Test Files, where <product directory> is the product directory of SmartPlant Client (by default C:\Program Files\SmartPlant\SmartPlant Client).
You do not have to use ..\<product directory>\SmartPlant Test Tool\Test Files as the directory for a test plant. You may copy test document files to a directory that you create. You associate this directory with a plant as described in Register a Tool Plant.
The SmartPlant Test Tool requires that all the document files for a plant be in a single directory.
If you are publishing to a project under a registered plant, it is mandatory to create a new project test files folder and add the project test files that are installed to that folder.
The project test files are installed in the \<product directory>\EF Test Tool\Test Files\ Project Test Files folder.
To create the project test files folder and add project test files, do the following:

Open the \<product directory>\EF Test Tool\Test Files\ Project Test Files folder, and copy the project test files.

Create a folder by using the <toolplantname>_<toolprojectname> format under the …\Test Files folder and paste the copied project test files.
Example: If your tool plant name is TestPlant1 and the project name is TestProject1, the folder name must be TestPlant1_TestProject1.
