These commands allow you to find the next revision code for a particular revision scheme and also allows you to test whether a document revision is publishable. This is useful in tools that do not contain the SmartPlant menu, such as Model Loader.
Testing the next revision command

Click SmartPlant > Next Revision Code.

Select a plant in the Select Plant or Project dialog box.

Click OK.

Enter a revision scheme in the Revision scheme field.

Enter a major revision starting point in the Starting major revision field. This field is optional.

Enter a minor revision starting point in the Starting minor revision field. This field is optional.

Click Apply to display the next revision code, along with any additional revision information.
Testing if a document revision is publishable

Click SmartPlant > Document Revision Publishability.

Select a plant in the Select Plan or Project dialog box.

Click OK.

Enter a document UID in the Document UID field.

Enter a revision scheme in the Revision scheme field.

Enter a major revision starting point in the Major revision field.

Enter a minor revision starting point in the Minor revision field. This field is optional.

Click Apply to display the document revision publish availability.
If the Publishable field displays False, the document revision cannot be published. The Revision Publishability field displays a message that explains why the document revision cannot be published.
