What is the difference between OSD report and Inventory OSD report?

OSD report is generated after the material is received at the site. Often, there are miscalculations while receiving the materials. The revised calculation is done on the Inventory OSD report.

An inventory OSD report is created, when the manually counted quantity is less than the quantity stored in the database.

  1. On the Home page, click Site > Warehouse Management > Inventory Management > Inventory OSDs.

  2. Select a row from Physical Inventory Counts section, and click Create OSD in Over, Short or Damages section.

  3. Select a date when the OSD has been created in the OSD Create Date box.

  4. Select an OSD Type from the list.

  5. Optionally, select the Expected Closing Date.

  6. Type the OSD Quantity of the OSD.

  7. Select an OSD Closed Date of the OSD from the calendar.

  8. Type the name of the person who received the OSD in the Responsible Person box.

  9. Click HO Responsible to indicate if the home office is responsible for the OSD .

  10. Type descriptions of the OSDs in the Short Description and Description boxes.

  11. Type the details of the required action and the action taken already in the Required Action and Action Taken boxes.

  12. Click Save to save the OSD and close the dialog box.
