Why should I define steel plates separately?

Steel plates need special conditioning at the warehouse as they might rust or depreciate, if not properly cared. Therefore, they are kept at a separate warehouse made exclusively for them.

Steel plates screen helps you to insert or update the steel plate data. Steel plate data can also be inserted in the material receiving screens.

  1. On the Home page, click Site > Setup > Steel Plates.

  2. Click Add Row.

Origin of the steel plate is displayed in the Plate Origin column.

  3. Type the name of the steel plate in the Plate Number cell and the dimensions in the X and Y Dimension cells.

  4. Select a Unit from the list, and enter a Heat Number.

  5. Optionally, enter a Certificate Number, Manufacturer, File Location and Description, and click Save.

  6. To attach properties to the steel plates, click Properties and do the following:

    1. Click Add Row.
