Specifies the method for combining pseudostatic responses with dynamic (inertial) responses. Select SRSS for a square root of the sum of the squares combination method. Select ABS for an absolute combination method.

This option is applicable only when there is at least one independent support motion excitation component in a shock load case. Pseudostatic combinations are performed after all directional, spatial, and modal combinations. Select SRSS for pseudostatic combinations, as recommended by USNRC. ABS gives conservative results. For more information, see Include Pseudostatic (Anchor Movement) Components (Y/N).
