Permits are created via the logbook Details view and edited using the configurable IndustraForm. You will need to fill out the Permit Type, a Description of work to be done, and also the Valid From and Valid Until dates that control the period of time this permit is being issued for. See the "Adding a Permit" screenshot below for more details, and the Permit Fields table for a complete list of fields and their descriptions.

Adding a Permit

Definition & Information

Permit Type

The specific type of permit, e.g. Hot Work or Cold Work

Permit No.

An identifier that starts with the prefix configured in Permit Forms, assigned automatically to the Permit.

Valid From

The date & time the Permit is valid from.

Valid Until

The date & time the Permit is valid until.

Site, Section, Area, Unit

The area of the plant where the Permit is for.

ipment

The equipment being worked on/affected by the work for the Permit.

No. of Personnel

The number of personnel covered by this permit.

Work Order No.

The Work Order number this permit is related to, if there is one.

Required Certificates

Any Certificates that are required for this Permit.

Description of work to be done

The description of the work that this Permit is being requested for.

Status

The status of the Permit, as it progresses through the IndustraForm.

Email Notification

Allows a user to send an email to selected email addresses to bring the Permit to their attention.

Prepared By

The person who initially prepared this Permit.

Attachments

Any documents relevant to the permit attached by users.

Related Permits

Any Permits nearby that a user has indicated are related and should be taken into consideration.

After the Permit has been added, the IndustraForm used for the Permit is populated with the data entered.
